Avaloq Developer

Key Responsibilities:

- Engineer and customize Avaloq core banking modules to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial systems.

- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL packages and procedures within Oracle databases to ensure high-speed data processing and system reliability.

- Manage and troubleshoot Unix-based environments to maintain platform stability and performance for mission-critical banking operations.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct rigorous code reviews and performance tuning, ensuring all deliverables adhere to global banking security and compliance standards.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement within the development lifecycle.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in Avaloq development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale banking implementations.

- Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle DB, with the ability to architect efficient database schemas and complex queries for high-volume financial data.

- Strong command of Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting and system administration tasks relevant to banking infrastructure.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with the communication skills necessary to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, coordinating effectively across distributed global teams.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.

- Minimum of 5 - 12 years of hands-on experience in banking software development, specifically within the Avaloq domain.
