We are seeking a highly skilled Avaloq Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and customizing high-quality applications on the Avaloq Banking Suite. This role requires a strong background in Avaloq parameterization, scripting, and Oracle PL/SQL, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and testable solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative banking solutions that meet critical business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain solutions within the Avaloq Banking Suite to meet business requirements.

- Perform Avaloq parameterization and scripting, ensuring seamless integration with external systems.

- Design, implement, and maintain Avaloq modules, reports, and workflows.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.

- Participate in system upgrades, configuration, and performance tuning to ensure scalability and efficiency.

- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.

- Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.

- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvements within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development (customization, scripting, parameterization).

- Proficiency in Avaloq Script and Oracle PL/SQL.

- Strong understanding of the Avaloq Object Model and module configuration.

Domain knowledge of banking processes, including :

- Payments

- Securities

- Corporate Actions

- Core Banking operations

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience working in global banking or financial services environments.

- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, ISO20022, SWIFT, etc.).

- Certification in Avaloq or related financial technology platforms.
