Description :

We are looking for an Automotive Software Validation Engineer with hands-on experience in LAMP / Lighting Control Unit software validation. The role involves test case design, execution, hardware validation, and compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 processes.


Key Responsibilities :

- Perform software validation and testing for Automotive LAMP / Lighting Control Units.

- Design and execute test cases for automotive lighting functions including :

1. Low Beam, High Beam

2. DRL (Daytime Running Lamp)

3. Position Lamp, Turn Signal

4. Grill Lighting, Fog Lamps

5. Side Markers

6. Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB / IFS)

7. Static Leveling System

8. Cooling Fan Control

9. Fault Control & Diagnostics

10. Tail Lighting, Reverse Lighting

11. LPL Lighting Modules

- Execute tests on real LAMP hardware environments.

- Perform requirement analysis and derive test cases accordingly.

- Conduct test execution using hardware setups and prepare detailed test reports.

- Use automotive test and debug tools such as :

1. CANoe

2. Trace32 debugger

3. Hardware simulators (Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Programmable Power Supply)

- Validate communication using Automotive CAN protocol.

- Ensure compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.

- Collaborate closely with development, hardware, and system teams.

- Participate in reviews, defect analysis, and problem resolution.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Automotive Software Validation.

- Strong experience in LAMP / Lighting ECU validation.

- Hands-on experience with CAN tools (CANoe).

- Working knowledge of Trace32 and hardware test environments.

- Good understanding of Automotive CAN protocols.

- Experience in test case design, execution, and reporting.

- Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262 processes.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.


Good to Have :


- Experience with Body Control Modules (BCM).

- Exposure to diagnostics (UDS).

- Knowledge of automotive lighting regulations.
