Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of embedded software components on QNX RTOS for automotive platforms.
- Own the Board Support Package (BSP), bootloader, kernel configuration, and device driver stack.
- Drive compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety), ASPICE, and ISO 21434 (cybersecurity).
- Optimize system performance, boot time, and resource utilization.
- Manage QNX Momentics IDE, QNX Neutrino RTOS, and related toolchains.
- Interface with Tier-1 suppliers, silicon vendors, and OEMs to align platform requirements.
- Mentor and guide a team of embedded engineers across multiple vehicle programs.
- Own the QNX base software roadmap and contribute to platform strategy.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across the globe.
Professional & Technical Skills :
- More years of experience in Infotainment domain with experience in Android Development.
- Strong experience in QNX RTOS development for automotive-grade systems.
- Expertise in kernel-level programming, device drivers, and low-level debugging.
- Familiarity with automotive hardware platforms (ARM, x86) and SoCs.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of secure boot, OTA update mechanisms, and system diagnostics.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge on Hypervisor based architecture.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
- Knowledge in working with Infotainment setup.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.
