Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Testing with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test suites that ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement automated test scripts for UI and API testing

- Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies

- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reusability

- Perform regression, integration, and performance testing across environments

- Analyse test results, identify defects, and provide actionable feedback

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Must-Have Skills (Both Frontend & Backend) :

- Proficient in Java, JavaScript

- Skilled in Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured

- Strong Git and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) knowledge

- Strong experience with API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate) and SQL for database validation

- Familiar with performance testing tools like JMeter

- Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and SDLC processes

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus

- Capable of designing scalable, reusable test cases and frameworks

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
