QA Automation Engineer (Immediate Joiners only)

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to lead our mobile quality initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust automation frameworks that ensure seamless mobile application performance across diverse environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams to integrate quality checks directly into the development lifecycle. By driving automation excellence, you will directly impact the end-user experience, ensuring that every release is stable, performant, and bug-free, ultimately accelerating our time-to-market and maintaining our competitive edge in the mobile space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Java and Appium to increase test coverage and reduce manual regression efforts.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback to developers and ensure high-quality code deployments.

- Manage mobile device testing across cloud-based platforms like Saucelab to guarantee consistent application behavior across various OS versions and hardware configurations.

- Coordinate with release management teams to streamline deployments via Testflight and Google Play Internal Testing, ensuring smooth transition from development to production.

- Utilize Postman for comprehensive API validation to ensure backend services support mobile application functionality reliably.

- Maintain version control and collaborative workflows using Github and Gradle to ensure code integrity and efficient team synchronization.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building mobile automation frameworks from scratch using Java and Appium, with a proven track record of handling complex test scenarios for 4 to 10 years.

- Strong proficiency in integrating automated testing within CI/CD environments, ensuring that quality gates are effectively enforced throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Hands-on experience managing mobile application releases through Testflight and Google Play Internal Testing, with a deep understanding of mobile distribution ecosystems.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical quality metrics to stakeholders and influence product development decisions.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, demonstrating the adaptability to manage multiple testing priorities while maintaining high standards of code quality.

- Strong educational background in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a proactive approach to learning new testing methodologies and tools.
