Automation Tester - TOSCA

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Tosca Automation Tester to join our QA and automation engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, strong knowledge of automation frameworks, and the ability to design and execute automation strategies across UI, API, and regression testing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, leveraging test automation best practices and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.

- Automate test cases for UI, API, and regression testing ensuring robust test coverage.

- Perform test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting in alignment with project requirements.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality releases.

- Integrate Tosca automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

- Leverage test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM, or similar) to document, track, and manage test cases, execution, and results.

- Analyze automation results, identify root causes of failures, and provide actionable insights.

- Ensure scalability and reusability of test scripts through modular design.

- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5- 8 years of proven experience in test automation, with at least 3+ years in Tricentis Tosca.

- Strong expertise in :

1. UI Automation (web and desktop applications).

2. API Automation (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML validations).

3. Regression test suite automation and optimization.

- Experience with test management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.

- Understanding of test strategy, test planning, and automation best practices.

- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Telecom domain experience with exposure to large-scale enterprise applications.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

- Familiarity with performance testing concepts and related tools
