We're looking for a sharp TOSCA Automation Tester to join our QA team. You'll ensure our insurance software works perfectly by building and running automated tests using TOSCA. You should understand how software is made (SDLC) and how testing works. We need someone who's dedicated to making great software. You'll work closely with developers and product managers to find and fix bugs, making sure our users have a smooth experience.
Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain TOSCA automated test scripts.
- Run automated tests and analyze results to find bugs.
- Report and manage bugs in our system, giving all the needed information.
- Work with other teams to understand requirements and make features testable.
- Join meetings to share testing updates and challenges.
- Set up test environments and prepare test data.
- Help create and maintain test documents.
- Check new features against their requirements.
- Build and run automated tests using TOSCA for various types of testing.
- Create and manage TOSCA modules, test cases, and test data.
- Use TOSCA for testing APIs, user interfaces, and databases.
- Run automated scripts and check the results.
- Fix issues in automated scripts.
- Use automated tests to confirm bug fixes don't cause new problems.
- Find, log, and report software bugs clearly in our bug tracking system (like Jira).
- Provide detailed steps to reproduce bugs, expected results, and screenshots/logs.
Requirements :
- 1-2 years of direct experience with TOSCA automation testing is a must.
- Know how to create and run automated tests in TOSCA.
- Familiar with TOSCA's main parts: Modules, Test Cases, Execution Lists.
- Understand the software development and testing process.
- Experience with Agile (fast-paced) projects.
- Know how to use bug tracking tools (like Jira).
- Good at solving problems and thinking clearly.
- Pay close attention to details.
- Can work on your own and with a team.
- You must communicate well, both in writing and speaking.
- Experience in the insurance field is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for checking data is a plus.
Must have :
- Candidate must be Tosca AS1 and AS2 level certified.
- Candidates should mandatorily have at least 2 years of TOSCA automation hands-on experience.
- Have an idea about API testing using Tosca. Has excellent communication skills.
Good to have :
- Good to be ISTQB certified.
- Preferably have worked in Scrum Teams or are familiar with the Scrum way of working.
