Hiring : Automation Tester

Location : Chennai(Hybrid)

Experience : 5-8 Years

Mode : 6 months contract+ext

Key Skills & Experience Required :

- Automation Testing (UI & API)

- Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation

- API testing tools : Postman, REST Assured (or similar)

Programming & Frameworks :

- Strong coding skills in Java (often required; Python/C# sometimes accepted)

- Experience with test frameworks : Cucumber (BDD/Gherkin), TestNG, JUnit

AWS Cloud Integration :

- Hands-on with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch) and executing tests in AWS environments

CI/CD & DevOps Practices :

- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git (or GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

- Automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines for regression and continuous testing

- Software Development Lifecycle & Agile

- Working knowledge of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies

Core Responsibilities :

- Automate and execute UI and API tests (REST/SOAP), covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios

- Perform debugging and maintenance of failing test scripts

CI/CD Pipeline Integration :

- Embed automated tests into CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, enabling continuous quality validation

Collaboration & Reporting :

- Work closely with QA, dev, and DevOps teams - contribute to sprint planning, test coverage discussions, and Agile ceremonies

- Generate reports (e.g., Allure, Extent), document results, maintain test docs (TestRail, Jira, Confluence)

Cloud Test Execution :

- Set up and execute automated tests in AWS environments, validate cloud services integration, and manage test execution infrastructure
