About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in Python to join our travel technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and booking systems within the travel domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python

- Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web and API testing

- Validate travel booking flows, pricing engines, and itinerary systems

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Identify, track, and report defects with clear documentation

- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in automation testing

- Strong programming skills in Python

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks

- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST clients

- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

- Experience with version control tools like Git

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have :

- Experience in travel technology (booking engines, GDS, OTA platforms)

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)

- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

- Basic understanding of databases and SQL
