What you do :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and resilient automation frmeworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Write, execute, and maintain automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications.

- Integrate automation frameworks into the CI/CD pipeline, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

- Manage test environments and infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure consistent and reliable test execution.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in automation, code quality, and test-driven development (TDD) across the engineering team.

- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is a shared responsibility throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Provide technical expertise and strategic direction on all aspects of test automation.

What we expect :

- 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing

- Proven hands-on experience in building and managing automation frameworks from the ground up.

- Strong hands on experience with point of sale domain (POS)

- Expert-level proficiency with at least one major automation tool (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and concepts (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with API testing and tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).

- Excellent Analytical, problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.

- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.

Retail Domain: POS, Inventory, E-commerce, Procurement, Store Operations

Desired Skills :

- An understanding of performance engineering principles and experience with tools like JMeter or K6.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

- Experience with mobile automation tools like Appium
