Automation Tester - Playwright Testing

Job Title : Automation Tester with Playwright

Location : Bangalore

Type : Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and provide detailed defect reports.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality releases.

- Implement CI/CD integration for automated tests (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions etc.).

- Identify areas for automation, improve coverage, and reduce manual testing efforts.

- Ensure testing best practices, coding standards, and documentation are followed.

Technical Skills Required :

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python/Java for test automation.

- Good understanding of API Testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).

- Strong knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks, page object model (POM), and scripting best practices.

- Experience with Version Control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with modern web technologies, DOM concepts, and debugging tools.

- Knowledge of Test Management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).

Good to Have :

- Experience in Performance Testing or Mobile Automation.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
