Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Lead to drive automation-first quality engineering across multiple programs and build scalable, AI-enabled testing solutions. The role will involve leading automation strategy, designing robust test frameworks, mentoring QE teams, and leveraging GenAI, LLMs, GitHub Copilot, AWS, and AWS Bedrock to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive an automation-first quality engineering strategy across applications and programs.

- Lead and mentor test automation and QE teams, providing technical direction and ensuring delivery quality.

- Design and develop scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.

- Define automation architecture, test strategy, framework standards, reusable components, and best practices.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

- Leverage GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and GitHub Copilot to improve test creation, automation development, test data generation, defect analysis, and debugging.

- Explore and implement AI-assisted testing solutions using AWS Bedrock and related AWS services.

- Design and implement cloud-native testing solutions for applications deployed on AWS.

- Develop automated functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test suites.

- Integrate automation frameworks with build, deployment, reporting, and monitoring pipelines.

- Analyze automation failures, application defects, and quality metrics and drive root-cause resolution.

- Establish automation standards, coding practices, test coverage metrics, and quality gates.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps, product teams, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

- Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies and identify opportunities to improve QE productivity and coverage.

- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement across QE practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 - 12 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.

- Strong experience leading test automation initiatives and QE teams.

- Hands-on expertise in Selenium and Playwright.

- Strong experience designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks.

- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.

- Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

- Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application testing.

- Hands-on exposure to AWS Bedrock or equivalent AWS-based GenAI capabilities.

- Practical experience with GenAI/LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software testing.

- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants for test automation development.

- Strong programming/scripting skills in at least one automation language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Experience with test reporting, defect management, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

- Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC/STLC, Agile, and quality engineering practices.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
