Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and Playwright to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing automated test cases, and ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.

- Develop scalable and reusable automation frameworks.

- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test cases.

- Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios.

- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve issues.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform API and database validation where required.

- Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and testing standards.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing.

- Strong programming experience in Java.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Practical experience with Playwright automation.

- Experience with TestNG or JUnit.

- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.

- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Cucumber (BDD Framework).

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms.

- Automation framework development experience.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
