Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Testing professional to spearhead our mobile quality initiatives in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and executing robust automation frameworks using Appium to ensure seamless performance across our Android ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams to integrate quality gates directly into the CI/CD pipeline. By identifying critical bottlenecks and driving test coverage, you will directly influence the stability of our applications, ensuring a premium, bug-free experience for millions of end-users while accelerating our overall release velocity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Appium and Java to reduce manual regression efforts and improve testing efficiency for the mobile product suite.

- Collaborate with developers to identify edge cases and performance constraints within the Android OS, ensuring high-quality feature delivery that meets business requirements.

- Implement automated test suites within the CI/CD pipeline to provide rapid feedback to engineering teams, thereby minimizing time-to-market for new releases.

- Analyze test results and performance metrics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in application reliability and user satisfaction.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices in mobile automation, fostering a culture of technical excellence and rigorous quality standards across the department.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing complex automation frameworks using Appium, with a deep understanding of Android OS architecture and mobile-specific testing challenges.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for test automation scripts.

- Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on quality goals and project timelines.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying root causes in mobile environments and implementing long-term technical solutions.

- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of output.

- A minimum of 4 to 12 years of professional experience in quality assurance and automation, ideally supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
