We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automation Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Python, and API testing.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks, leading test automation initiatives, and mentoring team members.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, technical leadership, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Python.

- Drive API automation testing strategies using Python and tools like Postman/RestAssured/Requests library.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define and implement effective test strategies.

- Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Perform root-cause analysis of defects and ensure quick turnaround on fixes.

- Mentor and guide junior automation engineers within the team.

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Provide technical leadership in test automation and contribute to overall QA roadmap.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 - 9 years of experience in Automation Testing, with at least 3+ years in a lead/mentorship role.

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python.

- Expertise in API test automation (REST/SOAP APIs) using Python libraries or tools.

- Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, Page Object Model, BDD/TDD).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.

- Good knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
