Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Lead with 5 - 10 years of experience in software test automation, strong coding abilities in Java, and proven expertise in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, deep hands-on technical ability, and a passion for driving quality across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Framework Development & Enhancement :

- Design, develop, and optimize robust automation frameworks from scratch using Java, incorporating OOPS concepts, design patterns, advanced data structures (ArrayList, Vector, HashSet), and serialization.

- Maintain and modify existing automation frameworks to address evolving product needs and enhance automation efficiency.

Test Automation & Scripting :

- Lead the creation of advanced, scalable, and reusable automated scripts and solutions for web, API (SOAP UI, Postman), and BDD/JS-based test automation.

- Develop, review, and troubleshoot automated scripts, ensuring high coverage and reliability.

Team Leadership & Project Ownership :

- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of automation engineers; assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure best practices are followed.

- Drive project delivery independently, providing hands-on technical leadership and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Continuous Integration & Quality Assurance :

- Oversee integration of test automation tools including Selenium, Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and

TestNG into CI/CD pipelines for seamless, continuous testing.

- Debug complex issues and deliver timely, practical solutions for project and testing

challenges.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Engage with developers, QA analysts, business analysts, and project managers to ensure all requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing standards are fully addressed.

Manual & Exploratory Testing (Good to Have) :

- Perform manual testing of web applications for new features, regression, and exploratory needs.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 810 years hands-on software test automation using Java.
