Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and manage the automation testing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both web and mobile applications, ensuring they align with industry best practices and project requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans, with a focus on mobile automation (Appium for Android + iOS) and web automation (Selenium). Ensure that automation tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Utilize Appium (for mobile) and Selenium (for web) to build reusable test scripts. Customize existing tools and frameworks to meet project-specific needs.
- Leverage your domain expertise in Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Securities, and Mutual Funds to create automation strategies that are tailored to the banking and financial services sector.
- Work closely with development, QA, and other technical teams to ensure the effective automation of functional, regression, and performance tests. Provide technical guidance on test automation best practices and frameworks.
- Generate comprehensive test reports, analyze test results, and provide feedback to the team and stakeholders. Continuously improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing test scripts and automation frameworks. Address any challenges that arise in testing and automation efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 9 to 15 years of experience in automation testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing QA teams and automation projects.
- Strong expertise in Appium (for both Android and iOS mobile testing).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation.
- Proficiency in Java programming language for scripting.
- Experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
- Strong understanding and experience in the Banking Domain including knowledge of Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Securities, and Mutual Funds.
- Experience in developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, and other tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration for test automation is a plus.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of automation testers.
- Ability to provide technical direction and foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify issues in automation scripts and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and provide solutions to complex technical challenges.
