Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

About the Role :

Youll work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, design robust automation frameworks, and contribute to modern quality engineering practices. Exposure or interest in AI-driven testing is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright

- Build reusable automation scripts for UI, API, and functional testing

- Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps,

etc.)

- Collaborate with developers to support shift-left testing

- Analyze test results, debug failures, and drive quick resolutions

- Contribute to overall test strategy and quality processes

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Java (OOPs, Collections, Streams)

- Experience with Playwright (Java/JS)

- API testing using Rest Assured / Postman

- CI/CD integration experience

- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git

Good to Have :

- Exposure to AI/LLM-based testing tools

- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure)

- Docker or containerized test execution

- Performance or security testing exposure

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
