Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium) to support scalable test execution.

- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.

- Execute automated and manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture, features, and technical design.

- Perform API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate.

- Create and manage test data, test environments, and reports.

- Track, log, and analyze defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

- Identify areas of improvement in the testing process and implement automation best practices.

- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies to ensure testing coverage aligns with business requirements.

- Ensure test scripts are reusable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3 - 8 years of experience in software test automation.

- Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.

- Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Working knowledge of API automation (REST/SOAP) using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in sprint-based environments.

- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC
