Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description :

- Should have minimum 6 years of previous commercial experience with manual and

automation testing

- Should have minimum 3 yrs of experience in test automation

- Should have experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright

- Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language

- Excellent understanding of the testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing, and some experience in non-functional testing

- Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to use them in a practical way

- Have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people

- Should have experience in API testing using Postman

- Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers

- Hands-on experience with Databases/Advanced Excel is a big plus

- Experience working with large datasets or large customer base is a big plus

- Root cause analysis

- Test reporting

- Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, Monitoring services eg Rollbar, New Relic, Test

design, programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Test planning and QA strategy

- Knowledge of Python, Java is an added advantage
