Key Responsibilities :
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing using automation tools.
- Track, log, and verify defects in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
- Ensure test automation supports scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide inputs for process improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new automation tools, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in at least one automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium,
TestNG, JUnit).
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Bamboo).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
