Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Role : Test Automation Engineer

A dynamic opportunity for a seasoned Test Automation Engineer to lead the development of scalable automation frameworks for enterprise-grade applications. This role demands deep technical expertise in Java, Python, Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, and API testing tools. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous problem-solver with a passion for quality and a collaborative spirit to work across agile teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and extend automation frameworks using Robot Framework, including custom libraries and resource files.

- Develop and maintain test scripts in Java and Python for UI and functional testing.

- Perform API testing using REST Assured, Requests, or similar tools.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align test coverage with business goals.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage version control using Git.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies - sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.

- Document test cases, automation scripts, and framework guidelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues to enhance system reliability.

Required Skills & Experience :

Languages : Advanced proficiency in Java and Python, with strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.

Tools :

- Selenium WebDriver

- REST Assured, Requests (or equivalent API testing tools)

- Git for version control

Methodologies : Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication and collaboration across teams

- Adaptability in fast-paced, iterative environments

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
