Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts in Python for functional, integration, and regression testing.

- Define and implement test automation frameworks and processes to improve efficiency and coverage.

- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and product managers to understand

requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

- Conduct code reviews of test scripts and mentor junior QA team members.

- Drive test planning, estimation, execution, and defect management.

- Ensure CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.

- Continuously enhance test scripts for scalability and maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong knowledge of Python programming, including working with APIs, data handling, and libraries for automation.

- Proven experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Pytest, Unittest, Selenium, Playwright, or similar.

- Understanding of GenAI or AI/ML project workflows (preferred but not mandatory).

- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience in integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions,

GitLab CI).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and lead a small team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or automation for REST/GraphQL APIs.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
