Role : Automation Test Engineer - Appium/Selenium

We are looking for an experienced Automation Testing with expertise in Selenium, JavaScript, and Playwright to drive test automation strategies and execution. A strong background in mobile automation using Appium is preferred. The ideal candidate will lead automation efforts, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage automation testing efforts across web and mobile platforms.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and JavaScript.

- HandsOn with database testing tools for validating data integrity, performance, and SQL querie

- Implement and optimize mobile automation frameworks using Appium.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automation testing into CI/CDpipelines.

- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior automation engineers.

- Identify test automation opportunities and drive best practices for scalable test frameworks.

- Analyze test results, debug failures, and report defects with detailed documentation.

- Work closely with stakeholders to define automation strategies, test plans, and scope.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing.

- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and JavaScript.

- Strong hands-on experience in Appium for mobile automation (iOS & Android).

- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.

- Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or

- Azure DevOps.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in test automation.

- Understanding of API automation testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive automation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in mobile testing strategies and handling real device/cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Xray.

- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or TypeScript is an advantage.
