About the Role :

We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in VoIP systems and automation testing - with a focus on network-side components, not mobile or desktop.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance, backend-heavy environment and has a solid foundation in VoIP engineering, SIP messaging, network testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automation test suites for VoIP and backend systems.

- Validate communication protocols like SIP, RTP, and HTTP.

- Perform log analysis and troubleshoot VoIP call flows and SIP message traces.

- Build and maintain automation frameworks and integrate test cases with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

- Write automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.

- Conduct testing for REST APIs, microservices, and network interfaces.

- Work with VoIP infrastructure tools such as SBCs, Kamailio, RTP Engine, FreeSWITCH, or Asterisk.

- Operate in Unix/Linux environments and interact with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.

- Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams for comprehensive test coverage.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.

- 2+ years of experience in VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, IMS).

- Proven experience with HTTP, REST APIs, and microservice architecture.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or equivalent.

- Solid hands-on experience in Unix/Linux environments.

- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of Git for version control.

- Understanding of network testing, call quality analysis, and real-time VoIP performance troubleshooting.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Twilio or other CPaaS platforms.

- Familiarity with call quality metrics like MOS, jitter, and packet loss.

- Exposure to cloud telephony platforms or SaaS-based VoIP services.
