Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Selenium, along with working knowledge of Cypress or Playwright, and strong experience in CI/CD integration. This role demands a passionate quality who can build robust automation frameworks, drive test strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment. Play a key role in maintaining the quality of our applications by designing scalable automation solutions and ensuring seamless integration with modern DevOps pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.

- Develop comprehensive and reusable test scripts that validate functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.

- Perform detailed failure analysis, report defects, and work closely with development teams to drive resolution.

- Participate in code reviews and enforce quality standards across the QA team.

- Mentor and support junior QA engineers in test automation strategy and implementation.

- Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation coverage, and tool adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, with working knowledge of either Cypress or Playwright (minimum 12 years).

- Demonstrated expertise in test automation framework design and scalable script

development.

- Solid hands-on experience in Java and/or JavaScript for test scripting.

- Proficient in integrating automation suites into CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.

- In-depth understanding of software development and testing life cycles, Agile/Scrum

practices.

- Strong analytical skills, debugging capabilities, and a passion for quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud-based automation solutions or test execution platforms.

- Knowledge of test reporting frameworks and dashboard integration.

- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
