Description :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team, supporting digital transformation initiatives in the automobile and manufacturing sectors using the Mendix low-code platform.

You will design and execute robust test automation frameworks, perform manual and API testing, and ensure high-quality, reliable applications.

Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product owners, youll drive quality assurance for Mendix-based solutions integrated with manufacturing systems, IoT, and ERP/MES interfaces.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, TOSCA, or similar tools compatible with Mendix applications.

- Execute manual, functional, regression, and exploratory testing for Mendix features and integrations.

- Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI to validate integrations and data workflows.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).

- Validate data integrity and business workflows across manufacturing systems and IoT integrations.

- Collaborate with Mendix developers to identify testability gaps and enhance automation coverage.

- Document test scenarios, cases, and results, ensuring traceability to business requirements.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to QA strategy improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4- 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TOSCA, or similar tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).

- Experience with Mendix or other low-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems, PowerApps).

- Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git, Bitbucket).

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr).

- Knowledge of manufacturing domain processes (e.g., production tracking, quality systems, IoT).

- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Experience with Mendix ATS or other Mendix-specific testing tools.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack) or containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow) or AI-driven test automation tools.

- Proficiency in database testing using SQL, PostgreSQL, or SAP HANA.
