Job Description : Automation Test Engineer

Position : Automation Test Engineer

Location : Mumbai/ Pune

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

- Execute test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using test management tools.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure quality.

- Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.

- Maintain CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines.

- Ensure best practices in automation testing frameworks and coding standards.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Selenium / WebDriver with Java/Python (as per your requirement).

- Hands-on experience in TestNG / JUnit / PyTest.

- Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD).

- Knowledge of automation frameworks like Page Object Model (POM), BDD (Cucumber), etc.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Good communication and analytical skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with mobile testing tools (Appium).

- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter/LoadRunner).

- Exposure to cloud-based test platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
