Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a highly capable Automation Test Engineer with 57 years of experience in designing and executing test automation strategies for enterprise-grade web and SaaS applications.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Selenium, TestNG, Java, and should be well-versed in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

This role is crucial in our effort to ensure bug-free, scalable, and high-performing applications by increasing the test coverage and reducing the manual effort through automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java & TestNG Or Python & PyTest.

- Build a scalable and reusable automation framework aligned with project requirements.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into test cases.

- Set up and maintain automation test environments across multiple browsers and platforms.

- Perform API automation testing using tools like Postman and validate service integrations.

- Integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like LambdaTest or similar.

- Continuously evaluate and improve test automation coverage and effectiveness.

- Ensure full traceability of testing through the traceability matrix.

- Report and track bugs using JIRA and participate in defect triaging.

- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum settings to plan sprints and allocate QA efforts effectively.

Required Skills :

- Automation Tools & Frameworks : Selenium WebDriver, TestNG.

- Programming Language : Java,Python (for automation scripting).

- API Testing & Automation : Postman, REST APIs.

- Performance Testing (Bonus) : JMeter, NeoLoad.

- Test Management & Bug Tracking : JIRA, TestRail, Confluence.

- CI/CD Integration : LambdaTest or equivalent.

- Testing Types : Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, UAT.

- Strong understanding of STLC, bug lifecycle, and QA best practices.

Good to Have :

- Hands-on experience with SaaS-based applications or CRM platforms.

- Prior experience in testing financial applications with complex calculations.

- Knowledge of load and performance testing tools.

- Exposure to tools like Firebase Crashlytics for mobile/web issue monitoring.
