Experience Required : 6+ Years in Automation QA

Location - Bangalore

Shift Timing : 12 :00 PM to 9 :00 PM (1 Hour)

Position : Automation Test Engineer (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 6+ years of proven expertise in test automation. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in Selenium with either Java or Python, along with a deep understanding of automation frameworks and modern testing practices. Exposure to performance and load testing is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing

- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts for web, API, and integration testing

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to create BDD-style acceptance criteria and translate them into executable test scenarios (Cucumber, Gherkin)

- Ensure test traceability and coverage using ALM and Jira Xray for test planning, execution, and reporting

- Track, log, and manage defects in ALM/Jira and collaborate with developers for root cause analysis and resolution

- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure timely feedback to development teams

- Conduct functional test reviews and maintain test documentation aligned with business requirements

- (Preferred) Execute performance and load tests to measure system stability, scalability, and responsiveness

- Advocate quality-first practices across the SDLC, balancing manual and automated validation

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6- 12 years of professional experience in QA automation

- 3+ Yrs exp in AWS .

- Strong hands-on experience in functional, regression, and exploratory testing

- Proficiency with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave) and writing test cases in Gherkin syntax

- Solid automation expertise in Selenium with Java or Python

- Experience with Maven, TestNG, or Cucumber

- Strong experience with test management tools (Micro Focus ALM, Jira Xray)

- Proven experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Agile/DevOps environments

- Proficiency with Git and issue tracking tools (Jira/ADO)

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

- Experience working in Agile and SaFe frameworks

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, Grafana k6)

- Exposure to data validation testing for end-to-end system accuracy

- Knowledge of cloud-native or containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

- Basic understanding of AI-assisted testing tools
