Job Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive API automation test suites using RestAssured and Java.

- Create and enhance automation frameworks following Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles.

- Implement in-sprint automation testing within Agile development cycles to ensure continuous quality.

- Develop and execute automation scripts for API testing, database automation, and UI automation using modern tools and technologies.

- Collaborate with development teams to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.

- Generate detailed test reports using Allure Reports and manage test cases in Jira and Xray.

- Troubleshoot automation issues and resolve defects with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence for test automation processes and frameworks.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Qualifications :

- 6+ years of solid experience in test automation.

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with RestAssured and Java.

- Strong expertise in API automation using RestAssured and Java.

- Proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD integration.

- Experience with Karate framework for API testing.

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts.

- Ability to design and develop scalable automation frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones.

- Hands-on experience with Allure Reports for test reporting.

- Proficiency with Jira and Xray for test case management.

- Experience with Confluence for documentation.

- Proven experience working in Agile environments with in-sprint automation.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Summary :

- 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in API Automation using RestAssured and Java.

- Strong expertise in Java, RestAssured, Jenkins, GitLab, Karate Framework, Node.js, Allure Reports, Jira, Xray, and Confluence.

- Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and experience in building/enhancing automation frameworks.

- Experience working as an SDET/Individual Contributor.

- Hands-on experience with Agile methodology and In-Sprint Automation.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
