Automation Test Engineer - Ranorex

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Ranorex to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts.

The role involves working closely with the QA and development teams to ensure product quality, accelerate release cycles, and build a reliable automation framework.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Ranorex Studio.

- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and define test automation strategy.

- Create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for desktop, web, and mobile applications.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.

- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

- Perform root cause analysis of automation failures and ensure test stability.

- Support regression testing and ensure consistent test coverage across releases.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ranorex automation tool including Scripting.

- Strong knowledge of test automation concepts, scripting, and frameworks.

- Proficiency in C# (Ranorex scripting languages).

- Experience in test case design, execution, and reporting.

- Understanding of desktop, web, and/or mobile test automation.

- Familiarity with object recognition, XPath, UI automation frameworks.

- Experience with version control tools.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools ( Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with other automation tools (Selenium).

- Knowledge of performance and API testing tools.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- ISTQB or equivalent certification.

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
