We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for web applications and APIs. The role requires hands-on experience in UI automation, API validation, test framework development, CI/CD integration, and Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Perform API testing and validation for RESTful services.

- Create and execute automated regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test suites.

- Validate API requests, responses, authentication, and business workflows.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.

- Maintain test data and test environments.

- Generate automation reports and testing metrics.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams in Agile environments.

Requirements :

- UI Automation: Playwright Automation Framework, JavaScript or TypeScript, Cross-browser Testing, Web UI Automation, Page Object Model (POM).

- API Testing: REST API Testing, API Validation, JSON/XML Parsing, Authentication Methods (OAuth, JWT, and Basic Auth), and API Automation Framework Development.

- Programming: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Object-Oriented Programming Concepts.

- Test Frameworks and Tools: Playwright Test Runner, Jest / Mocha (Preferred), Git, Maven / NPM Package Management.

- CI/CD and DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD Pipeline Integration.
