Automation Test Engineer - Playwright Testing

Role : Automation Test Engineer

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer to join our development and quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate is an expert in leveraging modern automation frameworks, particularly Playwright with C#, to build robust, scalable, and maintainable test solutions.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development & Maintenance :

- Develop and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks and high-quality, reusable test scripts primarily using Playwright and the C# programming language.

- Implement and enforce best practices in automation, including the efficient use of the Page Object Model (POM) pattern.

- Utilize NUnit (or similar frameworks like xUnit) for writing structured and efficient unit and integration tests.

- Ensure the test automation solution is scalable, performant, and easily maintainable.

Execution, Reporting, and Integration :

- Integrate automated tests seamlessly into the existing CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.

- Generate detailed, insightful, and visually appealing test reports using Allure Report to communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.

- Track, manage, and communicate the status of defects, working closely with development teams using JIRA or similar defect tracking systems.

- Execute and document manual test cases when automation is not feasible or required for exploratory testing.

Quality & Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to thoroughly understand requirements and align testing strategies.

- Proactively identify test coverage gaps and continuously seek opportunities to optimize testing processes, tools, and frameworks to improve overall efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience :

- Experience : Proven professional experience as an Automation Test Engineer.

- Automation Tools (Must-Have) : Expert, hands-on experience with Playwright for web and API automation.

- Experience with API testing tools and automation.

- Knowledge of performance and load testing concepts.
