Microsoft Playwright Automation Test Engineer

Required Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Playwright for test automation.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience in UI, API, End-to-End (E2E), Regression, Smoke, Integration, and Functional Testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation framework design and development using Playwright.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining Page Object Model (POM) and modular automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of API testing using REST APIs and related tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience in test data management and environment configuration.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Telecom domain experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Microsoft Playwright.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
- Develop reusable components, libraries, and utilities to improve automation efficiency.
- Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) architecture and automation best practices.
- Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Analyze test execution results and investigate failures through detailed root cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs for testability and automation feasibility.
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain test environments, test data, and automation infrastructure.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Monitor automation suite stability and continuously improve test execution efficiency.
- Generate and present test execution reports, quality metrics, and automation coverage reports.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test automation processes and quality engineering practices.
- Support release validation activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
