Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 35 years of experience in test automation using Core Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Core Java.

- Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.

- Create and optimize XPath locators for dynamic web elements.

- Implement effective exception handling and synchronization techniques in automation scripts.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Maintain test scripts to ensure compatibility with application changes.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case review activities.

- Prepare test execution reports and provide regular status updates.

Required Skills:

- 35 years of experience in test automation.

- Strong programming skills in Core Java.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Strong knowledge of XPath creation and element identification strategies.

- Good understanding of Java exception handling concepts.

- Experience implementing and maintaining the Page Object Model (POM).

- Knowledge of automation framework design and best practices.

- Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit.

- Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

- Knowledge of API testing using Rest Assured or Postman.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
