Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Java Selenium Automation Test Engineer with 8- 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, API testing, CI/CD integration, and test automation best practices.

You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.

- Develop and execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test cases.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, or similar.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Prepare and maintain automation reports, test documentation, and execution dashboards.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.

- Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall software quality.

Required Skills :

- 8- 10 years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in Automation Testing.

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber (BDD).

- Strong knowledge of API Automation using Rest Assured or similar frameworks.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with performance or security testing is an added advantage.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized test execution.

- Experience working with Maven or Gradle build tools.

- Familiarity with reporting tools like Extent Reports or Allure Reports.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in Automation Testing or Java are a plus.
