Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium

Role Overview :

As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, analyzing test results, and collaborating with developers to identify and resolve defects. You will work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your work will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of our business by delivering robust and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Python, and Java to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests.

- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure traceability and transparency.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of test automation code.

- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge of automation testing best practices to foster a culture of quality.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Python, and Java.

- Proven ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
