Location : Chennai / Trivandrum ONLY

Role : Automation Test Engineer

Job Description :

Experience : 37 years in overall testing

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on Test Automation experience using Selenium or Katalon

- Strong experience with Java Test Automation frameworks such as TestNG and Cucumber

- Ability to perform data handling using Java Collections and perform effective String manipulation

- Experience with Apache POI for reading/writing Excel files

- Ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java

Responsibilities :

- Manage test activities for medium to large projects

- Review user and functional requirements; provide meaningful feedback

- Conduct informal testing for early functionalities and develop detailed test scripts with traceability

- Participate actively in test execution and monitor progress

- Collaborate proactively with developers, business users, and analysts

- Write, review, and execute formal test scripts including setup, data requirements, procedures, and expected results

- Contribute to project estimates and documentation (Project Plan, URS, FRS, Design documents)

- Review requirements, plans, and prototypes, providing constructive inputs

Additional Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum

- Katalon tool knowledge

- Clinical domain experience
