Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Selenium Automation Tester with Java and API testing experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java + Selenium WebDriver.

- Automate test cases for UI and API layers.

- Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured, Postman, or SoapUI.

- Create and execute test scripts, analyze results, and log defects.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to understand features and technical implementations.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Java.

- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit frameworks.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools.

- Experience with REST Assured or similar Java-based API testing libraries.

- Experience with Maven, Git, and Jenkins.

- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), BDD (Cucumber) is a plus.

- Experience in defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- ISTQB or other QA certifications are a plus.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Performance testing experience with tools like JMeter.

- Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
