Automation Test Engineer - Functional Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.

- Develop and execute API test cases using Rest Assured.

- Perform functional, regression, and system testing for web applications.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Create and maintain test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Track and manage defects using JIRA and participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 5 years of experience in automation testing (70% automation, 30% manual).

- Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for test automation.

- Solid understanding of OOPS concepts.

- Experience with functional testing, system testing, and manual test case execution.

- Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Nice to Have :

- Experience in CI/CD environments and test automation frameworks.

- Exposure to performance or security testing tools is a plus
