About the Role :

We are looking for a Python Automation Tester with strong expertise in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, Pytest, and REST API testing. This role involves working closely with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery and seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate will be responsible for creating robust, maintainable test scripts, performing functional and regression testing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and Pytest.

- Perform functional, regression, and API testing to ensure software quality.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.

- Report defects, track issues, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to improve test coverage and testing efficiency.

- Design and implement reusable and scalable automation frameworks.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming and automation frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, or Robot Framework.

- Proven experience in REST API testing and SQL database validation.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for automated test integration.

- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in test automation for web and mobile applications.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
