About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium with Java and API Automation using Rest Assured.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for both web and API applications, ensuring high-quality product releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.

- Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured.

- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for :

1. Functional Testing

2. Regression Testing

3. Integration Testing

4. End-to-End Testing

- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.

- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test strategy discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of releases.

- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, automation reports, and other QA documentation.

- Continuously improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. Selenium with Java

2. Rest Assured

- Solid understanding of automation frameworks and API testing methodologies.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Basic understanding of SQL and backend/database validation.

- Exposure to test reporting and defect tracking tools.

Eligibility Criteria :

- Candidates must be comfortable attending Face-to-Face interviews.

- Candidates should be open to working in a Hybrid work model from Hyderabad (Gachibowli).

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
