Position Summary :

The Automation Solutions Architect designs automation solutions across diverse business systems, ensuring architectural alignment, scalability, and security. This person serves as the lead developer for prototypes and production automations within an automation pod, and as a technical mentor to the junior engineers paired with them.

Key Responsibilities :

- Evaluate automation requests and determine the best-fit technology RPA, API integration, workflow tool, or custom code.

- Maintain a catalog of enterprise automation tools and reusable components.

- Architect automation solutions that integrate with financial systems and data flows.

- Lead development of proofs-of-concept, pilots, and production automations.

- Set technical standards, documentation requirements, and version-control practices.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and support cross-team design reviews.

- Conduct code reviews to enforce quality, security, and maintainability standards.

Required Qualifications :

- 7 to 10 years in IT solution design, application architecture, or automation engineering.

- Hands-on development skills in Python and/or C#.

- Strong experience with RPA frameworks (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere).

- Domain knowledge in financial and accounting systems (ERP, payroll, POS, HRIS) and data integration between them.

- Familiarity with cloud architecture (Azure preferred), APIs, and security standards (OAuth, SSO).

- Working knowledge of relational databases, ETL, and message-queue systems.

- Proficiency with Git or other version-control systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience mentoring junior developers in a pod or pair-programming environment.

- Background in Financial Services, Accounting Outsourcing, or BPO environments.

- Experience with containerized workloads and CI/CD pipelines.
