Job Description

Responsibilities :

- Design, Develop, and Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Use tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and Java to design and develop efficient automated test cases for web applications.

- Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing: Execute and maintain automated tests on multiple browsers and real devices using BrowserStack, ensuring consistent user experiences across environments.

- Collaborate with Development and QA Teams: Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins), ensuring seamless integration of automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Test Execution and Result Analysis: Run automated test cases, identify defects, and provide actionable feedback to development teams based on detailed analysis of test results.

- Automation Framework Development: Build and maintain modular, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks integrated with Playwright or Selenium.

- Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new automation tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency and quality.

- Code Reviews and Testability: Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and provide input on testability, automation strategies, and process improvements.

- Documentation and Reporting: Create clear and concise documentation for test plans, cases, and results. Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.

- Defect Tracking and Resolution: Report defects, track issues, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them promptly.

Requirements :


Degree: BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSc IT.

- 2-5 years of experience in Automation Testing or similar roles, with hands-on experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and TestNG.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks.

- Strong working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit.

- Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar platforms for real-device and cross-browser testing.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for automation frameworks and test scripts.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Experience using Playwright for modern web automation and end-to-end testing.

- Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber.

- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and exposure to DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of Functional test, load test (jMeter), security testing, VAPT testing
