Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with 46 years of experience in test automation to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building automation frameworks, automating UI and API testing, and contributing to high-quality software delivery through modern testing practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java.

- Develop automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium and Playwright.

- Design and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured.

- Plan, execute, and support performance testing activities to ensure application scalability and reliability.

- Implement reusable, data-driven automation solutions to improve test efficiency and coverage.

- Validate application functionality through database verification using SQL queries.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and develop effective test strategies.

- Analyze automation failures, troubleshoot defects, and continuously improve test stability and framework performance.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to delivering high-quality software within sprint timelines.

- Support team members by sharing best practices and promoting automation standards.

Required Qualifications :

- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software test automation.

- Strong experience designing and developing automation frameworks using Java.

- Practical experience with Selenium for web UI automation.

- Hands-on exposure to Playwright for modern browser automation.

- Experience with Rest Assured for API automation testing.

- Knowledge of performance testing concepts and execution.

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Experience working within Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration pipelines.

- Experience using Git, Jenkins, Maven, and JIRA.

- Strong SQL skills for backend validation and database testing.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to team success.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience implementing enterprise-scale automation frameworks.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.

- Knowledge of automation design patterns and framework optimization techniques.
