Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with experience in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and BDD/Cucumber to support testing for ForgeRock Identity Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software test automation, agile development, and continuous integration practices, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.

- Create and execute end-to-end, functional, regression, and integration test scenarios.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using BDD/Cucumber.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.

- Contribute to improving test automation coverage, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Skills :

- 4-6 years of experience in software test automation.

- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with BDD/Cucumber framework.

- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Experience with automated functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) tools and automated test execution.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

- High attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience testing ForgeRock Identity Management (IDM) or Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications.

- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management concepts.

- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Exposure to REST API testing and modern test automation practices.
