Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Automation Expert with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Playwright, REST API Automation, and CI/CD along with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile practices. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation solutions, improving test coverage, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across web and API applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.

- Develop automated test scripts for web and API applications.

- Automate functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.

- Create reusable automation components to improve testing efficiency.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

- Identify, document, and track software defects.

- Perform API automation using REST Assured or similar frameworks.

- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Review automation code and mentor junior QA engineers.

- Improve automation coverage and optimize execution time.

- Prepare automation reports and quality metrics.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- ISTQB or Automation Testing certification is an added advantage.
