Automation Engineer - Worksoft Certify

Job Summary :

Responsibilities :

Automation Strategy & Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Worksoft Certify for various SAP modules and business processes.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to understand SAP functionalities and translate them into effective automated test scenarios.

- Develop and implement test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient testing.

- Identify opportunities for automation to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

SAP Testing Expertise :

- Validate end-to-end business processes across integrated SAP modules.

- Understand and interpret SAP configurations and customizations for effective test case design.

Tool Proficiency :

- Integrate Worksoft Certify with HP ALM/Octane for test planning, execution, and defect management.

- Manage test cases, test sets, and defects within HP ALM/Octane, ensuring accurate reporting and traceability.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Clearly articulate test strategies, progress, and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, and defect triage meetings.

- Mentor junior team members on Worksoft Certify best practices and SAP testing methodologies.

Quality Assurance & Improvement :

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in Automation Testing for SAP applications.

- Strong understanding and practical experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments and modules.

- Proven experience with HP ALM/Octane tool for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) :

- Experience with other automation tools or programming languages (e.g., UFT, Selenium, Java, Python) is a

plus.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of ITIL processes.
